We went down there to hunt in a guild group and see her fighting away in that room. But as soon as she see us she pmed one of my guild mates Camiltion and told him the room was ours she just needed to finish off the mob she was fighting..

I have a friar too. This is not a "friars are ovepowered" post...after all, I see many classes soloing mobs in DF. It's just disheartening that one person can deny 8 ppl good xp when there are many other places to power their alt or, shock horror, they could actually play the alt properly and learn the class, as well as get better xp in a group.

I actually think it was very polite of the friar in question to leave so someone else could go there, he had no obligation to move.

Well I sometimes spend a bit of time farming for cash at the Rocots in DF, and I always feel bad if there are lower level players trying to xp there too. I farm rocots in particular as I can do so with absolutely no down time and chat at the same time if I have to (normally, playing an infil, there is too much clicking around to be done to be able to chat easily too). However, I usually watch the spawn and make sure there is always one available for the normal xp'ers and wait for a new spawn before pulling again. This slows it down some, but at least the normal xp'ers get a look in.... I wish others did the same.

He had the place camped, if he could kill all the mobs in the room with no problems then he could stay there without any problem. If you went to the Princess room and saw a group of 8 exping there what would you do? ... Hunt somewhere else, just because there is one person there doesnt mean that you can take his spot -if- he can manage the spawn. (The spawn in the princess room isnt to long, but all the mobs generally spawn at once.) And i dont think that Friar would have any problem with you killing the Ambassidor and Princess and moving on.

Just before i get flamed like crazy this is not LoE's Sotl's or Derrics views, just mine.

EDIT: Personally i would of moved if another group wanted to hunt there like the Friar did. But you shouldnt expect him to move just because he is one person (or two in this case)
