pls can anyone help with some spec ideas for classic server shaman?

my shammy is 44 aug 31 cave 3 or 4 mend

37 aug, 27 cave, 25 mend is a decent spec because you get a few spells in all lines you can spec. all buffs are capped or near cap, HoT for pve(maybe solo rvr), 30% rezz, less variance on heals and you get the aoe root, insta pbae disease but low dmg bolt/dd

On the classic servers i'd imagine you'd want your shaman to have cure disease as a minimum.

On lamorak mids ran one really high aug shaman (for ae shears) and the other high cave, unsure what the specs were exactly, maybe its just 46 aug like Madi said

would also go for moc1 purge1 mcl1 vr1 at rr3, moc1 + shears + disease spam

some mid grps ran 2 shamans also,mostly on Lamo but many switched to the 1 shaman setup nowadays since its alot better and easyer then running 2 shamans.

why go higher cave than 27 when that spec gives you all stuffs? gray aeroot for interrupting
(useless to aeroot tanks with higher spec anyway, and less powercost on gray aeroot to interrupt with)
you get insta disease etc, and you get cure disease. 46 aug also provides red s/c, red pie and yellow d/q.

a spec with lower aug will be fubar for the grp since you are the mainbuffer
and you cant cap specs in classic since no +buffs toa stuffs there.

Do wonder why more shammies don't take aug higher, say 48aug, 22 cave, rest mend. Get aoe str/con buffstrip for one-shot buffstripping tank trains, lose pbaoe disease. Guess the pbaoe too useful still.

I remember buffbonus being more like 11%? Unsure though Chim :/

150 radious on the AE-buffstrip is too low to make it worthwhile loosing the instant PBAE-disease on 27 cave.
