They prolly couldn't get any uber drops from epic mobs because they can't kill them on their own, and they couldn't powerlevel their own members.... I was in an all scout guild on excal... was fun in RvR, but leveling was a pain, since you couldn't do guild groups

Still, at least midgard will be better off... Guess Shadows faded into the shadows?

I think its more to do with the upcoming patches and general activities of the guild.. they couldnt hope to be big enough to actually mean a lot in RvR... As for other benefits : Keep claims, guild halls, drop hunts etc etc etc Apart from the fact that Warders are the eldest mids around <not agewise, but ingame presence>.

Speaking of Warders, is my favourite berserker Klavrynd still around? Last I heard of the female avatar was her becoming a hermit in Spindelhalla after some disillusionment about Malmohus.

Shadows was a great idea, but what's better than a guild with a significant amount of stealthers? A guild with a significant amount of stealthers and other classes of course!

We were only 13 members, didnt look like we would get anymore, 4 people left already for various reasons, most of the time we were max 4 people online. Only once were we enough online to claim a keep.

The arrival of Darkness Falls also meant that if we wanted to play there we couldnt do it as a guild.

We decided to merge with Warders because they are a bunch of experienced old players that we all know well, and we have alot of friends there. (basically we couldnt find a better guild)

Death is a very quiet guy, and decided to stay alone behind in Shadows (the others there are on vacation, or just havent left yet)

Just to correct it, they didnt need to pl people because only lvl 46+ could join )

I don't recall seeing Warders in Beta and I played since day one. Purple Warriors and the Huskies are the only guilds left from Beta I think (my memory aint too good).

I remember my first keep raid at lvl 21.... We were taking Caer benowhatever....

Got in the DH group, and lo and behold, a lvl 35 hunter named Gombur was getting me RP's

I'm still 4.5 levels from lvl 50 and he's already there.... he has too much time on his hands

Eldest as in they have the most experienced level 50 members percentagewise in the guild I often have problems expressing myself correctly

Brotherhood of Dawn was most powerful guild in beta on Excalibur, followed by Purple Warriors as i remember it.
