I know it's been asked before but, looking at the guides out there, it seems that the variety of workable spec's is huge and seems to have changed alot over time due to RR bonus's and RA's. So for you shades out there, what does this spec look like and is there somthing fundemental missing from it :

Spec assumes RR3

Stealth = 40 (safe fall 4)

Celtic Dual = 18 (Spare points)

Critical Strike = 39 (last style in PA chain )

Pierce = 39

Envenom = 37 (lifebane available with rr3 and +11 from items)

imo

44 CS
39 pierce
36 stealth
37 envenom
rest in CD

might adjust stealth/env a point up or down dependant on what RR u aiming for :D

I've been thinking about this alot lately and i'll be going for this spec on my celt soon: (this is assuming I autotrain to 48)

35 Env
39Pierce
39CS
35stealth
31CD (29CD without autotrain)

When you get higher RR you can try getting a respec stone and drop envenom to 33 at RR6 which frees up alot of points for CD.
You won't have lifebane untill ur RR4 but I think the extra ptns CD are worth it, as is the autotrain :)

Slight miscalculation there: RR4 gives you +3 to your specs, so with 35 envenom ( and +11 from items) you will need RR5 for lifebane.

yup RR5 is correct.

check out This tool wuntvor. Its an excell spreadsheet for all assassins that allows you to make a spec, RA template, and does all sorts of calculations if you type in your equipment (like % chance to evade)
It also keeps track of autotraining points which is handy :)

ns up to rr5 is kinda gimped ;/ once you get to rr5 u can do the popular spec

44 weapon
44 cs
35 stealth
34 envenom

envenom and stealth cant remember the exact spec but its somewhere along those lines.

what you need to think about is weapon damage 39 weapon is quite low damage actually and you will notice the difference if u speced the one above.

Envenom gets resisted quite alot nowa days so think about that too.

Just aim for rr5 get avoid pain and its a insta win button every 15mins.

I am aiming to sth similar to Lillo, but am still unsure if 44 pierce or 44 CS

pierce = higher base dmg
cs = higher pa dmg

the extra styles are of no imprtance imo

will leave that question open until 45 i think until then i should have read enough to come to a decision.

I think u will find the extra CS style to be very good, and it will be upping your pa damage to go 44 CS, 44peirce gives higher weapskill and a pretty decent follow up style to diamondback although its not as damaging as the CS evade chain. You really cant go wrong with 44 in both, but if u have to choose 1 id would go for 44 CS and 39 peirce at the least. I dont see any reason to have stealth/venom any higher than 35, ideally have venom at 34.
well that my opinion:)

been toying around with Sneakypants tool some more and will probably be going for this spec now:

Blades 44
CS 39
Env 35
Stealth 35
CD 24

then respec to 34 envenom/stealth when i get my RR abit up. Eventually going even lower for the CD (i prefer extra cd over bigger PA and since i'm gonna be using blades my weaponskill will be higher already). now all i would need are single line respec stones from galla :\

Lillo am i right in saying you specing blades you also have a buffbot? coz if you dont have a buffbot and your a bladeshade u are seriously gimped and i mean gimped to shit your damage will be way lower then other ns who spec pierce and are unbuffed. If u wanna be bladeshade u must have a buffbot.
