I like the mini-ITX site a lot...I'm getting very tempted to turn my girlfriends new PC into a project rather than the Shuttle I was going to use.

I have been working on a "concept PC" project for a while, it has taken many twists and turns, but basically I intend to design the case myself, the time span has been so long now I have changed the dimensions smaller and smaller, started out with the Asus 245mm sq. A7N266 and now thinking of those cute little 170mm sq. EPIA mobos.

The problem with ITX is that you have to start thinking about shrinking down everything else, an example is the CD drive, the slimline ones are not cheap, this is the area where the Shuttle's win out, they have got down to the smallest footprint before you start using "mini" sized drives and such.

Unless you're going to build the PC into a toaster or Millennium Falcon, I'd stick with the regular SFFs like the Shuttle, as they are very small anyway, and look quite sexy as well !

hah xane thanks for those links - toaster and Millenium Falcon :)

The toaster PC looks lush tbh.
