Lol, £100? You are nuts, damn those cartridge prices were insane though, Nintendo made billions price gouging those bastards. Probably with they screwed up the N64 staying with carts when the world had moved on to the the larger and cheaper CD format. Funnily enough they are doing it again with Wii, they can't keep up with the technology race so they redesign the Gamecube and speed the cpu up 50% then call it something different and think people will eat shit a second time

Yup £100 fucking quid back then though that was my birthday present used all my bday money lol was worth it though as it was one of the best games ever tbh.

I've learned my lesson with the N64/GC i am not touching the WII with a 100ft pole.. i'm sorry it just screams failure once people get fed up of looking like an idiot with the motion sensor it will get shoved to the back of GAME/HMV like the 64/GC.

But i love my DS

I think Street Fighter 2 Hyper Fighting is going to be an instant hit... we are talking MILLIONS of people downloading what for most is a child hood legend of a game.

Nintendo have scored a huge hit with the DS but all consoles after the SNES were cack(hated the N64 and Gamecube....apart from Zelda/Mario on N64).

The DS is sex though.

I remember paying £60 for SF2, the one in the gold box, well worth the money.

Just FYI SF in any guise on MAME is utterdogshit with 360 controller. So have fun. I do want it badly, SF is my favourite series of all time and live enabled is nice too. BUT, I dont think it has aged gracefully and Third Strike on live is far far far better.

If you know anything about SF3:TS you will appreciate that absolutely insane bit of skill there. Ken basically parries (have to hit towards bang on cue EACH TIME Chun-Li does her super move there. So hes parried 14 or so stupidly fast hits which would eat away his energy each time they hit. With no energy. In front of hundreds of people.

I love every SF game going, spent most of my time with EX1, played 2 when i was growing up every minute I had and found a nice newish home on Third Strike. Get with the times...

And anyway, isnt that vid from Super SF2? As in not Hyper Fighting? Can tell by the fact that Super SF2 uses the CPS2 engine and that sure as hell aint CPS1

Funnily enough it's exactly the same guy who showed crazy madskillz with Balrog (M. Bison in Jap edition) in the vid I posted. Daigo plays SSF2T, SFA3 and SF3:TS which is the sensible thing to do imo.

Hated Charlie. Allen Schnider - not even a Capcom guy but hes my all time favourite. Arika did SFEX and put him in it, he ended up in Fighting Layer .

He had some filthy juggling combos up in the 18 hit range.

lol - I don't have a gamepad for me PC. I defined keys on the keyboard and could only reach two attack buttons I might have to try getting a decent pad that works on that emulator thingie...

I don't own a 360 either. I'm a married man and conservatory blinds are next on my list

I spent 3 quid in the arcade 14 years ago and it's the only 3 quid I'll spend on SF.

I don't claim to have any sense. I just bought Dawn of Sorrow, Dr. Kiwasharimas Brain Fuck and Phoenix Wright in one go. Played none of them yet.
