Several technical problems with guilds

My guild, Ithil Galad, has been experiencing several problems.

First, we tried changing our emblem. This seemed to work, until we left Tir Na Nog (TNN); then all our emblemized stuff was gone. Claimed keepguards did walk around with the proper emblem though. Lavelle/Nadhia has reported this with RightNow, but no answer yet.

Second, our guild rps aren't showing. Correction: they show up in TNN (well over 3M by now), but outside TNN /gc info shows an amount that's out of date.

Third, I asked over CF /as if there are other guilds experiencing problems like this. I heard a rumor that Vulcan (defensor aluvo)had some similar probs, dunno much about it, and I heard Garbannoch (Black Dragon) mention something going wrong when trying to make a new guild.

Any advice / suggestions / info welcome, and if some one can get these problems addressed to GOA staff faster than RightNow, please let me know ( :

We changed our Guild Structure and had afterwards problems with hearign /as or speaking in /gu

remove + invite helped

with the guild emblem stuff and not updated rps I can't help you

Our guilds total RPs did some strange things on Saturday, when I logged on at 2pm we had approx 3.55mil, an hour later it had dropped to 3.53mil and the hour after that it was 3.51mil. It then started acting as normal again. We even had someone check Duskwave and on there it showed us as having 3.53mil at the time, go figure.

I only noticed because I do /gc info when I log/relog to check if we have a keep claimed and how much RP the guild is on.

Probably just even more cases of Mythic's dodgy coding.

A guy messaged me in game the other day trying to create a guild. He experienced a problem where when members left TNN they lost the guild name under their own.

Only problems i have experienced is with message of the day appearing as an old message in some zones and a new message in others. This was a while ago now & seems to have sorted itself out.

Cant offer any solutions though other than get those coders to code it properly.

My guild disbanded and reformed and got had the bug. Now I don't have as talk/hear privileges anymore

Had the same problem in our guild yesterday, a guy couldnt talk in /gu but could read it, the guildname was missing under his own name.

He tried leaving guild, which he couldnt because he wasnt in guild the message read (??) We tried promoting back and forth a bit too, didnt work.

with the emblem, you might have to re-emblem any items to keep the emblem in the same way you have to when changing guilds.

with the inability to talk in /as, are you sure your rank in guild has /as talk privileges? by default afaik only the gm has the rights to talk in /as etc etc. in fact stormrider i saw you yesterday, and you said your guild was in the cf alliance but i couldnt see you listed. if the guild broke up and reformed it might need to get re-invited, try getting one of the cf gm's to reinvite your guild

Brevis, did you try reinviting the person? when you leave a guild you dont have the guild name under your own, you cant talk on the guilds channel, it says you arent in the guild, but until you relog you can still read the guild chat

hope something there can solve a problem?

well CF changed their emblem, because i remember it being patheticaly ugly any of them have probs???

Spoke to the guy who messaged me in game Psionic i think his name was. He is still experiencing problems but has had no response from the evil that is GOA.

Same problem when I changed our Guild emblem yesterday. Curiosly in claimed keep the old emblem remains...

Yes Aeiedil, we have tried to reinvite the person again the next day when he logged back on, no matter what we did he could not accept the invite.

It's really annoying!

When we died in uppland last night we had 25 milion and 8xx k, when we released and got back in dl we had 25 milion 6xxx k.

Formed a few guilds in my time *cough* and had several problems with it but in each case different.
one occasion all the forming members had the GM title, rank properties such as claim/upgrade change themselves or dont work at all. Ranks listed as being able to claim/upgrade can't
Chat priviliges for ranks used to change too for a while etc etc
Most recent one I experienced is the GM not being able to claim a keep while ther others could. Suggest you bug right now a bit to get things sorted, so did I.

Has anyone had a bug when trying to create a new emblem, and your cannot see what you create?

I get a pic of my character seen from the front, not the back, so I can't see any of what I am doing. My wife's comp does the same. I tried doing a complete filecheck, no luck.
