setup a dedicated q3 server

i need some help to set up a dedicated server @ quake 3 arena

what i want is to have a server with 8 players max , only dm17 and 18, timlimit 15, fraglimit 40, on default port. and it should show up on gamespy too =)

can anyone help me setting up the server?
what should i write in the cfg file? i have read the guide they had on planetquake but it didnt work =/

In what way didn't work? I assume you're trying to run OSP rather than VQ3. If not, get it from www.orangesmoothie.org

The example configs you get with it, make it all clear as to what you need to set.
