Hehe I had the exact same system, the hard drive seemed huge at the time and I was even daft enough to buy the official Amiga monitor which sucked more than a Paladin with 2H spec ;)

For music production Atari ST > Amiga because of it's midi capabilities and the software for it

For everything else Amiga > Atari ST for better graphics, processor and teh revolutionary blitter chip :)

\o/ my arguement exactly but Choppy won't have any of it, he thinks that because the Atari ST did the opening graphics for Top of the Pops in the 80's that makes it the superior machine :)

Oh btw your champeen Carlito Sway better watch out, there is a Merc looking for him. He goes by the name of Benny Blanco and he is from the Bronx, you know that could spell trouble for poor Carlito :p

sooo, what games did you remember from the Amiga?

My faves, in no order:
Another World
FlashBack
Lotus 2
StreetFighter 2
Civilization
The Settlers (the hours I spent playing this game to the end....... )
Rome series
Dune
Dune 2
Alien Breed

Had about 1000 games when I put it away.... those are the ones I remember playing for a long time anyway

Championship Manager
Supercars 2
Frontier : Elite 2
Might & Magic series
Bards Tale series
Pretty much all Sierra & LucasArts adventures (Kings Quest, Police Quest, Space Quest, Leisure Suit Larry, Tentacle, Monkey Island, Maniac Mansion, Zak ... lots of others & sequels)

I'm sure I could think of many others given enough time

Forgot to mention this... not a game as such but I spent more time on ProTracker composing music than I probably did playing games on the amiga.

Big deal, Amigas rendered the Spacestation/spaceship graphics for the first series of Babylon 5.
Certainly a lot better than the shitty Atari/top of the pops shite.
