Setting in XP so PC does not reboot when game crashes

I can remember in the old forums mention that there is a setting in the Windows XP registry or something that you could set so that your PC did not reboot when the game crashes but went back to the desktop.

Does anybody know this setting?

Hiya,

You need to do the following steps:

Open system in the control panel.

Click the advanced tab and under startup and recovery,
click settings.

Under the systemfailure click the appropiate actions you
wish WindowsXP to perform when system fails.

There should be one that is called autimatically reboot at
system failure you will need to uncheck that one.
