In both cases weak setup :).

our setup is quite similar, and ive yet to see you even scratch us :p sorry it sounds arrogant, but that comment deserved it.

i agree you should change a bm for champ or eld, but either way the setup can work. teamplay > all

it's not only the setup that makes u win... if u walk everytime against same setup.... well u know:p

Till 3 days ago i though: bard druid druid chanter chanter bainshee bainshee bainshee was a bad setup..... till we actually got high rr alb and mid groups... and very easy to.

Don't think we met that often as we stopped to play short after cluster and even there we were not with the old people (Clerics changed).

We were running a fun setup anyway and didn't consider us being on pair with the guild groups.

But three tanks and one caster is asking for trouble, tanks are easily neutralized with 2 BG'ers / grapplers or ineffective vs PD5 BDs and intercept pet SMs and one caster is easier interrupted that two.

So yes, my comment deserved arrogance. :touch:

yes yes, well if daoc was actually played like that ur right.. but in reallity 3 bm's have shit load of damage and get people down fast... often bg comes 2 late at enemy's.. and with 3 bm's.. they bg'er is down fast:p

Its uber dmg xD

it is good damage but too much dependance on one class debuffing ..it rocks for a mini group but I dont think it would server much purpose against a higher realm rank group that will cop on to it and just annihalate your chanter at the start of every fight .

and the fact that you would leave the utility an eld brings to the table for a bit more damage in a bm assist train against a good mage group for example I dont think can work. while the 3 bms and the chanter are concentrating on one class that leaves xyz amount of enemy casters unattended too and if they know how to play ..then I dont think ure group is going to live very long when ure druids are dead.

Think the original idea was good but for a mini group or at least rep one BM for an ELD . Not saying elds are vital because I am one but because from being in countless fights and realising that if I or another eld hadnt nearsited their mages - dex and dex quick debuffed the healers - diseased the tanks and stre/con / debuff and stunned what was being assisted on ..we wouldnt have won.

My opinion for what its worth.

I dont really agree since we ran 2x BM + champ + ench for a verry long time, up until cluster when we found a superb bard =)

Eld in a tank group is just as nice as an enchanter. What you trade for is purge damage/interrupts for group utility and a caster playing more like a support.. What most ppl know is that an enchanter will/can increase a gruops damage output by over 50%. Either of it is nice, your group just have to get to know how to play along with it.

I know I saw your group set up ..It was good ..partly because what u ran with was all rr 8 plus and on vent etc and knew how to play but the current our group with kippie on eld looks more effective no ?

its more effecient yes. dosent neglect the fact that it was a verry viable group setup.. but a major factor was improvements between the members and ppl getting to play classes they know...not the actuall switch between group setup..
