Service Distruption Notification

Goa are upgrading to Windows 3.1. This upgrade will take 3 weeks to complete. You should expect to see a significant slow down in server performance after the upgrade...

Please dont send any messages to our high tech state of the art support system "right now", as the night shift staff is sleeping...

We are currently forwarding all support queries to Origin in the hope they might reply, on our behalf....

they noticed they'd run out of power outlets and needed excaliburs for the toaster, wont take long. Unless someone forgot the jam.

I think the toaster has more CPU than their server, perhaps they should think about formatting the toaster and installing the op-system and game on the toaster? That way they can make there toast with no downtime??

I might send this one off to them?? I am sure they welcome constructive comments???

They must have known about this upgrade for weeks.

Why do we let them get away with just posting notification about an hour before they perform the upgrade????

This is damn shoddy....

All they need to do is, create a section on the website called "planned maintainance/upgrade/and outage Information"

Grrrr, they get away with it because you all suffer in silence....

Flood them with emails expressing your disgust, Post things like this. Let them know you wont put up with this....

(tip create yourself a nice preformatted Email that your can send them whenever you are not happy (they use this tactics well in replying to help queries((again im sure they got this of Origin who were masters in the preformatted response)) IF we all flood them with mails they will know how pissed we are at them.)

(also make the Email slighley synical (the french like that))
