What's the news on the buying a box plan?

not sure, Jups currently burried under his own wallet...we are bringing in a forklift now too try and free him.


i had a peak at some supliers, HP Dl145s [2x275 cores] come stoo About £2000 and that double the power of the current machine.


I'll price out building one by hand later on.

If you don't go rack mount it's a lot cheaper, but I assume a rackmount is required! Those cases and motherboards are so expensive!

I think the rented ones are MPUK? If they hosted on their own hardware, then it would be unranked. Then that top 50 in the world populated blah blah wouldn't last very long.

As you can have ranked servers that aren't hosted by MPUK Clown..you are miss informed

no.

You have too buy a licence from EA, which is quite difficult but i've been talking too some clans that have done so.

Costs $80 per licence but theres a fair amount of legal hoop jumping before you get one

Lemme hold off on that i just spoke too one of the people who had got one, and it appears EA withdrew it.

Still chekcing tho as i don't believe they'd sell it then recall it.
