can't log in atm - servers down or something?

They were down for "maintenance" since 8 this morn, they just came up but the login server is fucked.

Yeah

But what can we do?

Unfortunately the devs seem to have a rather unfortunate response (or have had in the past) which has been "OK we know you did it and we're going to watch you in future!". Or at least that was their reaction to the base cap/re-secure bug thing.

I just hope they wise up and start actually taking action against these people, they've probably got enough reports to start investigating them and with the logs they must keep...

Edit: A lot of people on the official forums have screamed about this (or they did last time) and the general consensus was that their characters should be deleted and the outfit that condoned it (if they could prove the outfit did condone it) would be disbanded and the name blocked so it couldn't be remade. No idea if they are intending to implement this, but that's what people want from the official forums.

Don't think it'll happen. Sony are taking a fairly liberal view which imo is a crying shame.

People believe they can get away with it, so they do it with impunity.
