Server?

so i've got SWG comming on import from US, i know people say dont bother coz its just like paying for a beta.. but im willing to pay for a beta if its starwars. im just wondering, is there a server i should stick to if im in the UK? is there an unofficial sort of UK server where most UK people on import are playing?

Half of Albion/Excal moved to Eclipse... SOE is considering a name change to 3(133P53.

I play on Kettemoor... nice and cosy.

i might try eclipse, although i'd really kinda like a server with the least possible leeters on it, although im guessing thats prolly none-existent really, as its on the internet. dont wanna be on a server where everyones like... 1:1 1337 v3+ 4L8 $+yL3

Eclipse isnt like that from my experiance, in fact i can count the number of people ive encountered using leetspeak on 1 hand, maybe i just been lucky

I cant speak for the other servers but i would guess its the same.

the game in generall dosnt cater for that type of person i can see them getting frustrated easy and leaving.. which is a good thing in my book

well i've been for 2 months on Kettemoor ( i'm from Belgium) and you dont see that many peeps in our timezone

so moved to Eclipse , been ther now for 3 days and i like it till now

That depends... take the Euro DAoC servers for example.
Prydwen in the early days - mainly nice, mature folks.
Excalibur - mainly Billy-no-mates pimple faced 1337 kiddies.

I had alts on Excalibur... always felt like playing Midgard. Always deleted them after getting in touch with the "community" there.
When Hibernia got boosted a little, tons of Excalibur players rolled alts on Hib/Prydwen and swamped the place with fotm-characters. And ruined the community with their "i aer teh twat" attitude.

That's how DAoC mainly died for me... shit community. Just look at the forums. R-e-t-a-r-d-e-d.

I want to play SW:G for awhile.
Small servers, small community - for the most part small ammount of twats. Me loves.

but there's a difference in SWG and DAoC...
You dont have to find a group to improve,
you dont need to feel like an exp whore and "try" to
get along even with the l33t-retards

I dont say that everyone on Eclipse are nice (hehe dont know many ppl thou) but major of all the ppl Ive meet are nice.
Playing with nice people hence the gaymeplay,
yust avoid the retards
