Could you change the settings to old style jumping is allowed, ie no jumplag, theres an admin mod plugin written for this incase you dont know the relevant settings, its much more fun

Besides which when you get bored of CS you can bunnyhop race from spawn to spawn

Going back to jumping would be , by definition a backwards move, making BW even more out of sync with the rest of the world.

Actually, it really throws my game when I pull off the crazy shots. Its hard to aim when you are laughing at the total fluke you just pulled off.

Agreed, although strafe jumping was a big part of my game, but I've adapted now. Lets move forward not backwards.

I thought all the lamers who whinged about the new jumping all shutted the fudge up a long time ago.

The game has changed, get over it.

The game would be completely FUCKED if you went back to the old jumping with the new style of gameplay.

This is the kind of thing that UK2 would do, not someone respectable like Barrysworld.

I normally play on a server with no jumplag, very few people on the server bunnyhop, or use tactics reliant on it.

Also, the plugin that causes no jumplag, there are 3 settings, 1.5 style, no jumplag, and no jumplag with bunnyhopping allowed.

So if they dont use anything specific to the jumplag then why bother having it back on at all, all it does is make the game worse. Only idiots who cant cope with change want the jumping to return to normal. A friend of mine who last played CS before the new jumping system began playing again the other day, he said he didnt even notice the change. The new jumping system is absolutely fine, it is never annoying and makes the game work. If you are finding it annoying then you need to adapt your style to cope with it.

It is a good thing and I'm glad it happened and that it is here to stay
