When i host games with my 1Mbit after awhile all clients connected are disconnected. I am using a router and hub. All ports are forwarded and i even triend a DMZ. Firmware upgraded, different nics.

Is there anyone who can show me the superior intellect and sort my problem out.???????????

Well you don't actually have 1Mbit both ways, I'm on Telewest and I believe NTL have the same limits with 1Mbit downstream and 256K upstream.

How many players are on the server?

yes it's 1Mbit down and 256k up. The amount of players range fom 2 to 10, it doesn't discriminate.

A couple of points:

1. It'll never manage more than 3-4 people that well.
2. CM are not designed to run servers.
3. Game servers require a stable connections.

I think you'll find it hard to sort this problem as its more than likely to do with your CM than a problem with you computer.

Do yourun the server dedicated?

Ah-ha, now I can help you.

You need to upgrade the firmware. The Netgear site will have the files and the guide on how to.

Then you need to telnet into your router, and choose option 15 - SUA Server Setup. Set the box the server was running on as default server, or forward all the required ports.

That should sort it out. (I have an RT314)
