lo all 
i've been hunting about to find out how to customise my server. i would like to put a greeting message up when people join the server as i've seen on other peoples servers (e.g welcome to so and so server enjoy your stay.) also i would like to change the messages when people are killed to something more humerous of which i have also seen on other peoples servers. (so and so took Noobs rocket right in the kisser.)
i have found some info on altering the text file in pak 0 then ftp it to the barryserver, but i thought there must be an easier way to do it, i.e from the barry's server it self, well any pointers in the right direction are greatly appreciated.
