It's not a crash:

We are getting close to the hardware upgrade of Excalibur. The server will come down today at 1.30pm BST and will be down for around one hour. This is in preparation of the hardware upgrade which will be done in the coming days, the exact date remaining uncertain. We will update you with the dates and hours as soon as we have completed the final tests.
