yep its an absolute joke. arguably the most important events is happening in-game and as a direct result, the server crashes. not funny! lets face it, even before it was crashing, get more than about 8 people in a relatively close area and the lag is terrible :(

mids prolly had it coming

evil mids sneaked up on our dragon raid :p well good thing the zone crash "feature" kicked in. wat u were thinking zerging dadga at this hour.

Gifv Prydwen stability imo

rarely Down and close to never LD.

I had bout 2-3 sec lags between typings Pms and such.
any other had same?

Middies did a good raid tbh, and a server crash has completed wasted their hard work. Obviously I dont want mids to get the relics but they did a good job and should have had a chance to try to get it without server crash.

agree with u there. they did a good raid but they did know we had a dragon raid. Im absolutely sure of it.

Will be chaotic when server is back on :(

aye gg mids. was looking forward to the clash of metal when we all ploughed in :) riding to dc was like being in the london marathon on horse-back ....... mad stampede of incoming hibs heheh

I was exping with some guildies in CF, we felt the lag and *knew* a relic raid was going on before any keeps fell or anyone noticed. I said on /as the server will be going down shortly and surely enough...

from Fridays news:-

"Another unforeseen delay with the upgrade of Excalibur to the famous Bi-Xeon platform, the plan now is to have this done within the next two weeks. Little more patience on this… "

a little more patience eh.. sure, tell it to the trolls...

I arranged this raid and I spent alot of time planning it. Everything was going so well :( I did not know you were on dragon raid, because that means a huge amount of hibs suiciding in a second and then moving to dagda together, I wouldn't have gone through with this raid had I known you'd were doing a DR... This raid was planned since before the albs raided us.

Ive never been online during a RR which enduced a SERVER crash
so i wouldnt know am i right in assuming its been down for nearly 30 mins now?

Greetings from an upset midgard member.

How come this friggin server always give up when we try to do a relicraid on u guys? This isn´t even fun anymore, I´m so damn tired of paying to play a game that don´t live up to its standards.

Sorry if we caught u on a Dragonraid, but that happens sometimes.

/salute never seen any realm take keeps that fast, and i was literally pissing myself wen i heard NP and 2fgs+ of mids where camping outside DC, was like 30 secs from end of gorge wen the server went down so good organising, even if u did catch us with our pants down ;)

yeah its sucked bit time for that to happen. Defending a relic raid is a lot of fun win or lose and we applaud you for trying a primetime raid, but this server just cant handle the combined numbers of hib and mid in one zone. We need to have strong words with whoever is responsible for the upgrades and make sure we do get this new promised server soon.

this sawks :(

Been defending alb relics on pryd 5-6 times with bout 200+ attackers.

Nothing more than good old computer crackups ;)

damn this :(

and btw, if u spent alot of time planning this raid, and suppositly didnt know hib was on a DR, Why chose to raid now, In prime time if u really wanted a chance of success :)

You have been planning an RR of this size for a week and we didnt know about it.

There has been some problems with Excalibur this night between sunday and monday. Around 1 am the server crashed and proceeded to do so upon reboot. The admins have been working on it continually since then, and managed to stabilize the server at around 6 am. The problem is not yet fixed but the guys are still hard at work and hope to find a full fix for the issue soon.

That's the status currently. We will keep you informed on the situation and we are sorry for the problems with the server this night.

5 fucking hours last time, and on the RvR forum i have been informed 10fgs+ of mids where on so bb relics :( we had 5fgs defense
