The first movie which is included in this second release was created on the 21th may of 2003. We took approximately one week or so on us to start editing the material we gathered and then released it in the first edition which didn't ever go public iirc.

All the material is from the same day and it's more or less all the material I recorded that day. Some has been removed due to it being frankly too crappy (I started recording too late into the fight etc) to use in a actual release.

So one can say that the material is from the 11th may or so (the sourcefile is from the 12th and I have a memory of that I ripped it the day after the actual RvR).


The RvR which was being fought those days is quite different to RvR in its current state so I thought I might as well do something with the old footage file. The sourcefile had already been encoded once into DivX before Septina got it (storing 25 minutes of DV video on your harddrive = suicide irl) so quality ended up quite decent in the end

is this horrible interlace problem a decoder, encoder or capture problem? can't even watch 30 secs without getting a headache (using latest XviD codec etc)

ahhhh... re-encoded it using VirtualDub, de-interlace filter and latest XviD, makes it much nicer to watch and reduces the size to 98mb (another 135mb saved)
