From my experience of this board and the posts made, I would say that biggest part of them are moan/whine/flame threads going on about the various bug abuse, buffbots, xp killing, xp spot arguing, yada yada...

If not, then they turn in to one.

And now the new one about the name change...

What enjoyment do people find in the game?

I had a level 50 toon that I sold because I thought L50 RvR on mid was total crap, the attitudes of various other guilds/players really spoiled it for me, now I have a couple of L24 toons and other alts and I enjoy the game again.

And please try not to turn this in to a flame thread :)

:) Most likely ppl will post some useful stuff, like Gifv pie, kebab or even ice-cream, pink is teh only real color and finally they will blame Derric.

I play the game mostly because I enjoy just hanging out with all the friends I've made now :)

I enjoy RvR, but I tend to get bored when it becomes "he who zergs, wins". I also enjoy the PvE side to a lesser extent, but generally only when I'm grouped with friends.

I have the zen approach on playing DAOC. It's not the destination but the journey there that counts.

I also enjoy the DAOC community, even that of Barrysworld - tho most of the posts are irrelevant commentary (givf pie etc) or flames, there are the few precious people whose posts are filled with humour or relevant debate.

PS. I'm not saying the flames are shit and should definately not be posted, they are good reading material for times of boredom ^^

I found that changing realm and not server revived my view on the game and I now enjoy leveling once more. Though hibi could use a helping hand once in a while ;) its by far the most fun realm to play :D

Midgard is fun too, but not in the same way, albion I never realy tried out much but I found that the caster/stalker start point sucked and the healer on near the keep prydwen was rather fun.

Main enjoyment comes from friends and guildmates, I am also now realy enjoying my mincer (now lvl 50  ) and have found RvR to be a blast.

RvR is on the up, if you stay away from emain that is. Getting some good fights in Hadrians. As for SI well.. not realy been there to do much had a little look around and got a little bored to tell the truth but then I have not been to any of the dungons to explore.

I find the game tiring now tbh. I came back for SI and as soon as SWG is out I'll jump ship. Its the people that make the game though, I'd never have come back for SI if they werent there to make it fun.

/edit: the FUN imo is from exploring - parts of SI make it feel like an adventure, something long since lost in normal daoc.

Heehee

SWG will be full of leet-kiddies, I reckon. World of Warcraft looks a much more tempting offer, or perhaps Dragon Empires - if the gameplay matches the graphics :)

What keeps me interested ...

... it's definitely the ppl :D

Met some really nice ones, some really lovely ones, some really mean ones, too - apart from the last group (which I can do without => /ignore jerks), I can definitely say that without them the game would probably bore me, but it's great fun when they are around ... ;)

/hug to all friends :)
/kiss to Dar :D
