serious lag last 7-14 days

hi mates

ive been experiencing some reallllllllyyyy irritating lag the last couple days. Its been for about 1-2 weeks and its so bad that I cant RvR or PvE properly without going linkdead 6-7 times in 2 hours, and worse than that is that im running with constant red/yellows on the perf bar

Any ideas what could cause this? Is any1 else experiencing the same?

You are not the only one, ive been having exactly the same problems, i think GoAs isp is to blame.

We were having this discussion briefly on last nights raid.

How can it be GOA's ISP ? surely EVERYONE would be affected

If you have bad packet loss and pings its more likely to be the route from YOUR ISP -> GOA's ISP as not everyone has the problem. I for one havent had any lag or LD's since TOA went in and im using Nildram for my ISP

I really cant see how people can say this is GOA's fault, or their ISP's fault.

MY ISP is 100 mbit connection without any packet losses for the past year, if GoAs ISP decides to re-route me how is that my problem ?

I have in fact contacted my isp several times now asking if they have changed something, their answer was negative. Yet i dont know much about this connection mumbo jumbo, but if its not my isp, it definately isnt my hardware .... can only blame the other end.

exactly my point - im running a 400mbit connection that has zero problems with anything else - my download speeds are the same - the other mmoporg's i play have no hassles. in the country i live there is only 1 service provider - that services the entire country . I called them and complained at them and they assure me its not at their end.

visa vie - if its not my hardware, or my isp - then the only logical deduction is that it has to be on their end.

Bloody hell you must be lucking gettting fiber in your home.

here is a quick recap of how isp's helpdesks work: It is never their end, their NOC might be on fire but they still wont admit its their end.

now about the lag, if 3000+ peeps are playing and 200 of them have some lag and LD problems the problem obviously does not lie at GOA's end since then all people would have the problem.

Sunday I had bad lag and LD, a friend who lives 500m from me had perfect connection, we are both on the same ISP.
after some searching I found that I was beeing routed a difrent way then he was.
Now what does that mean ? well It means sameone along the line is doing some hot patato routing and I end up on some crappy line.
Who's fault is it ? my isp's cause they shouldnt use backbone providers that hot patato route
GOA cause they shouldnt ...

I have the same problem while im on 10/100K i used to never LD, if i say never i mean NEVER. since toa i have yellow conn to and LD regulary
