7 Days.

Does anyone think there will be another attack on the United States, or England on the 11th? I believe it's fairly likely, or around that date.

I agree. If the Al Queda is still in a position to plot, then yes. A symbolic attack on Sept 11 would be very effective and would reaffirm their followers faith. At the same time, I dare say the US have a few tricks up their sleeve to prevent anything ruffling the world's feathers on Wednesday.

I dont think there will be anything like what happened last year.

There may be a few maniacs planting bombs in busy public areas...but I dont think its likely....

I heard the Al Qieda fellas where somethin to do with the "Failed Assassination" earlier today..

Anyway.. as people have said, all the Planes will be grounded on that Day, so they are gonna have to think of something else to "Plan their attack with" until that day comes nobody will know.. its a 50/50

Nothing that large. An embassy maybe, or a trade route. Maybe another US 'symbol' but not has high profile or as close to home as WTC.

I dont think anyone would use nukes these days.
They may threaten and blow them up underground but I think they are just there as a deterant...like India and Pakistan - they would never actually use them.

If they were going to use "weapons of mass destruction" i think they would use chemical or biological...

US Embassy in London would have been a prime target, if they didn't live so close to it.

With national governments, i'm sure that's the case. Each a deterrent to each other. But, these people have a belief and are so strong believers, if they had access to those weapons, i'm sure they'd use them.

Probably.

On a TV prog. i saw a while ago, they were talking about biological and chemical warefare... saying that a teaspoon full of the stuff could take out the whole of london.

Well, if they have it, who's to say they couldn't sneak it through the ports, put it in london, and take the place out.

Well, because most of them operate from London.

There's not a chance that Osama [Usama] is naive enough to attempt anything on the day, un-sanctioned fanatical individuals may attempt something, but not with any scale.
The fact is, the Al-Queda successfully brought about large scale descruction in the first place, they've no need to do anything again so soon.

infact, take the whole country out.

i mean, for fucks sake bush, he's blatently said he's going to go to war with the fuckers - now sadam obviously knows he will be taken out of power - which would mean he would loose.

Now if he has been creating all this mass destruction shit - then why, why, why wouldn't he even use it.

I think the next 10 years are going to be the most dangerous years the world has seen in centurys.

Like all the times before then? I suspect they'll do enough to shut him up for a few years and then leave it again. They don't want the responsibility nor committment, financially and otherwise of rebuilding and maintaining Iraq, imo.

Arguable.

He wants to finish his Daddy's work off properly. I think if he went in for it - with all the hype and us backing him (blair is a FUCKING POODLE to that guy), then i think he will go all out and take out sadam.

I think we're all going to be in a world of hurt - soon.

very soon.

It's most amusing watching slic3r pretend to know what he's talking about.

Most amusing indeed.

the world hasn't seen a century as bad as the twentieth, ever. With the exception of extinction events. Which are natural.

I only wish they would justify thier wars. IF Sadam had a nuke - which we don't know cause they haven't told us - then I think we need to take it off him. He strokes me as the sort of dictator who, if he eventually dies of old age, would nuke the globe as a final action knowing he wouldn't suffer the reprocusions.
But it's all so shady, and frankly that makes me think that the CIA/MI6 hasn't got anything concrete to prove anything.
And indeed, we should be leaving Bush to play toy soldiers on his own.

I do find this odd, why people believe because the International press isn't privy to highly sensitive intelligence that it by definition, doesn't exist. Perhaps it's because we do get to hear so much from the front line these days, but I really don't think they'd go this far without any just cause.

Who's to say we' all won't get taken out and become extinct within the next 10 years?

On the US? With any luck, however they better not attack England... My sister's birthday is on the 11th

For some reason, i don't actually remember much about the day last year; It only occurred to me what happened on the 11th a week or 2 ago - However, it was my sister's birthday before it was some terrorist attack day, so i'm fully entitled to prioritise :p

What really needs to be done is Blair needs to get out of Bush's arse and we need to leave that insane George Bush to his own devices.

He just doesn't understand anything about leaving the rest of the world alone, he has to interfere. The sooner he's out of power, the better.

But I do hope if a conflict starts, that we don't get involved at all.
