Seperate ISDn and MODEM leagues

I would like to see separate leagues for these two different beings. I feel the games would be a mush more enjoyable experience.

I mean you got to get bored killing people before they realise you are there

Anyway, all you modem users, give us some support and reply positively to this posting.

Unfortunatly modemers are dwindling. i had to pull my clan from a mixed league due to lack of modemers, but i agree with the spirit of your post.

This was the idea behind the MCW. It worked back then but it wouldn't work today.

I'm still a modemer after nearly 4 years of Quake but quite honestly, Q3 is nowhere near as good on modem as QW was. Most people who've been playing for as long as i have are now on ISDN and i've come to the conclusion that a modem is simply not viable for competative Q3.

So we should all get ISDN lines then.

A little to expensive for my blood, and there are plenty of modemers still about for a separate league
