Separate forums?

I don't doubt that this has already been suggested many times, but seeing as I can't be bothered to go thread mining, I'll suggest it and someone can flame me and tell me why it hasn't been done:

Why don't we have separate forums for each mod?

I mean when you have the Rainbow 6 forum, for example, with about 6 threads in it and then this one with its twelfty thousand posts, would it not seem logical to separate the HL / TFC / CS / FLF bit into different forums? At least then those who want to post about non-CS mods won't be swamped by CS material. :)


Looking forward to being flamed :(

personally i think there's too many forums already,but ur right a separate cs forum would make more sense than 12 diferent pacman forums or whatever it is :)

Don't see the point since CS is talked about most in this section any way.

Yeah CS is talked about most here, which is kinda the point cause it means anything else just gets lost.

Not really, its just they don't talk about it much or complain about cheats etc ;)

Also every one knows TFC is crap so they don't post to avoid taking stick ;)

thing is this forum is nowhere near as used as it once was, back in the summer it was used as regular as the general forum, now theres about 2 - 3 posts a day.

im back hehe sold a bike.
anyway, the reason this forum had so many posts was cos of 1.3 and the o it dont work/wheres my voice comm/etc etc.
do doubt when 1.4 comes out it'll be the same,and ch3tan can tell us all how stupid we are :p

I would aggree, but there are very few people here who aren't talking about CS.

It is annoying when people play only CS, but look at the BW FLF servers, they're empty.
I like HL mods, but no-one ehre plays em. Simple as that.

hmmm , again contrary to popular opinion i really like half life DOD.
the models looka bit cak and the scenery is a bit 2 dimensional but it plays great,which seems to be something that gets overlooked imo nowadays.also most ppl can play it at a regular frame rate and so get a good game.
however bw almost ignore it completely it seems.

There are 2 DoD servers, and they're populated quite a bit i think...Iplay it occasionally, and i'd have to say it's very balanced, if not a bit easy due to some substandard opposition.

The one shot kill rifles, which have 100% accuracy nm what the conditions are, really favour those with SP experiance.

The American rifle(Garrand) is the most popular weapon in the game, and that shows alot about the poeple that play it. It lacks the accuracy of th Kar, so is far better with 'spray and pray' tactics due to it's good ROF.

If i'm on Axis, i use the kar since the only reason for not killing soemone with it is your own inadequecy. What's more it has a bayonette for those close range situations ;)
On the Allies, it's gotta be the Thompson though, it's as accurate as the Garrand ffs! :cowsleep:

yeah i only discovered the bayonet the other day its highly amusing.still outclassed by the allied rifles quick fire ability imo.
i got britsh skins on the allies ,and a sten gun!

i really think thats what the americans think.great to get british skins/guns,much better.
i am in a mostly u.s quake clan,after sept 11 one person wrote on the clan website how she couldnt understand why everyone was so nasty to the u.s, especially when they were the only ppl to give money to the third world and help out ailing nations etc!
the mad thing is she actually beleived it!i pointed out that britsh troops were in macedonia risking thier lives even as we spoke.obviously she had no idea where macedonia was...
the trouble is the american people are fed this diet of hollywood tv bullshit,so they aint got any other imformation.so i guess its not really thier fault either.BUT someones to blame.

Actually if you go to America you'll find that the news is normal just about America as if its other name was Earth ;)
