Hi fellow, hibs,mids and albs!
This night I met Kedaveth, who apparently has 3 accounts, one in each realm. Don´t think he minds if I tell, btw.
As you may imagine this must be fun for one to have for oneself, but the realmies will probably be pissed (because of RvR).
Imagine a lot of us willing to pay 3 accounts..the game would end up being information warfare in my opinion.
I know this topic is Very sensitive, so please don´t use any bad words when replying here. I just wanted to hear what you think will happen if; lets say, half the server had 3 accounts. How would the game be like then?

tbh i dont think its as easy as ppl think (i really wouldnt know as i havent tried ) but for notification of relic raid etc you'd need to be in an alliance... people dont just run around screaming relic raid relic raid due to this reason.. So you get in a guild in a alliance then you find bahhhhhhh dont get promoted to get alliance chat till im lvl 35-40 so that means 40 lvls later you get alliance chat. do that 2 more times then it might be worrying 1 or 2 ppl may do it cant see alot of ppl doing it..... i may be wrong.

Well... there are LOTS and LOTS of players breaking the EULA and playing Daoc using Daox and running mIRC at the same time, probably the majority of the high levels. That's information warfare for you, no 'speaking in a language you don't understand' in mIRC... Not mostly anyway

For most ppl, one account is enough to get rid of those nasty social circles and RL issues, if someone needs three, well that's his thing.

On a large scale it could ruin the game but it would not be as bad as you might immediatly think.

To get info on a relic raid you need to be in guild which you will need to dedicate time to and you'd need a reasonably high level character, times that over 3 realms and thats heck of alot of time to dedicate to the game. Few people would bother with it once the novelty wore of and then theres the issue of which realm they would like the most and anyone with any morals would feel pretty shitty about screwing over the guild mates they have been levelling with in each realm.

This is Kedaveth on someone elses account - plz - get your facts right before you flair. I own 2 accounts - 1 on hib 1 on mid. The hib account is retired - i never use it any more and it will be given away to a friend soon. I only play on midguard any more. I dont see what your problem is - plz get your facts right before you start saying these things. Its rather annoying as you can imagine. I only ever play my midguard account - and never use my hib account - only people on my hib account are my friends in real life. If your going to make a post like this - plz get your facts straight before you make it as i am not a spy and i think that spys are very lame. I am now 100% mid - nothing else. Get your damn facts right before u lame - thx

ALSO - if you are going to lame about me having 2 accounts - PLZ LAME ABOUT THE OTHER PEOPLE WHO OWN 2 ACCOUNTS ON EXCAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I do NOT play on my hib account any more and i let people who i work with use my hib account. Bit lame to say things u know nothing about to be honest - Kedaveth is no longer mine - so if you see the new ked - dont be lame to him - and dont be lame to me either - i have done nothing wrong at all - merely given my hib account to friends!!!1!!!

This thread was meant as a general discussion on how one copes with people having multiple accounts and play for and against the different realm, I am sorry if you feel offended, but please don´t tell me one thing in-game and another on barrysworld.

Personally i would only have 2 account on 1 realm. For the simple reason of powerleveling your 2nd account characters with your 1st account character.

This is already happening on all servers - but 3 Accounts 1 on each realm...........!!!! I find that very sad indeed (does this person have a outside life???) but there isn't really much we can do apart from say how lame & sad he is etc etc etc

GOA & Mythic won't do anything because its more money for them.
If he wants to spend money on 3 Accounts which i bet most of the time are inactive then let him, its his money that he is wasting

At least us people are more reponseable with what we do with are money and how we spend it

I have RE-read what jilson has posted, a couple of times.....And he says that he does not have any character slots used with by albion-characters.

If this is the case, OK... jilson you are not the Kedaveth that I have referred to with my first post, because the Kedavath I´m talking about is in Albion.

And by the way when you make a character on a server, the desired name will be checked to see if it is taken by another subscriber. So either, you have misread Kedaveth or your characters have a similar, but not identical names.

For an example a hib and a alb can´t be called "UberKillar". If the character name was first taken by the hib, the alb will be unable to use that name.

I dont really think you have to be high up in any guild to spy , personally I think right place right time , you could be near the frontier zone and see a lot of people massing for RvR and quite innocently ask" ohhh where are you off to mr high level guy " and you'll be told probably .Quite often you could be anywere and see lots of horsies pass you buy with big purple cons on them , it will only cost you a horse ride to follow them to the zone and ask where they are raiding

This is Kedaveth, using my friends BW account.
My 1st Char was Kedaveth - which is now owned by a friend - not the original owner. I have a 2nd account on which i have a 45 Ranger and 43 Warden, which is also now owned by a friend. My char now is a lvl50 thane - which is my only char that i use/play. My friends use my other accounts, I am not myself on more than one realm. Sorry if htere has been some misunderstanding - as on the armsman - more than 1 person has been playing it lately. I will say it again - that i am only playing on my mid account - the other 2 are no longer used by me - just friends.

Got msg again, that pboae did finish u ( i was there with Pet ) , AND again u were using freaking same style, and yes, i know u have at your work place many comps, but how fooking pathetic its look on the other comp ( played in Alb) and look nicely who is who, when guards spawn, etc etc, then u just " deside" by "luck" run inside to keep, becuase u all rdy knew we r busy with huge guard spawn, and yes we killed some mids on the way to keep...

Then nice look again on other screen and weee, there is that guy, he needs to be get killed, inform that nice info what u have from alb screen at broad, and BOOM BOOM suddenly we all r getting ass spanked and ups, how lucky u also got with guards again.

U r just fooking lame little brat that tries to play the game with wrong style, go play solitaire with real cards and cheat there.

Dont to DAOC to teach more that gay ass style what u got, and also same goes to others who has 2-3 accounts in different realms same servers, GO play some other game and cheat there what u like, there is 2 ENGLISH servers, so u can play 2 realms with same account, in 2 diff places, and if u wanna play 3rd realm, BUY USA version. Dont stick your head in my face, and dont try to use your Alb "friends" to talk to me, i put them all ignore, and make sure they dont get on ANY big happenings what is going on.

IF u wanna "loan" accounts to some 1, DELETE the characters, and let the guys start like it should be start, yes and before that u can transfer all cash and items, there is nothing wrong with that 1.

AND stop hiding behind your "friends" back, Stick your head out so i can make it look like DAMN UGLY and BIG water melon, after couple Crush hits

Dont speak about shit u dont knwo about - The person who msg'd u was not told to do so - eitehr time - he was looking at my screen. The fact is that we had about 40 mids there - not just me - i didnt know anythign about your little failed raid - i was just told over /as to get to Odin's gate. I dont ask pple to message you - just the fact that my mates from the shop are all albs - sorry i must apologise about that its totally my fault we are on different realms - cant think how that cud have happened. Ok, ok, guys. I think the facts about this account thing regarding Kedaveth is clear...The current Kedaveth is a newbie and so he doesn´t know how to play fairly. I can only hope that the old Kedaveth will try to explain to the new some of the Codes of Conduct. Regarding the ones who are not newbies and still abuse multilple accounts ( must be tempting) they should be banned from the game when the proof arrives. I hope that this thread will make the ones who delibaretely cheat, think twice about it. (It is read by GOA people too).
I will use the opportunity to urge all 3 realmies to report any abuse (with proof) if you disciver any..even if your realm gets information that you should not have gotten.

I certainly will, if some one comes up to me and tells me
" the hibs are over there and they are so many"
and I ask "how do you know?"
and he replies " I use 2 accoounts to get info".

So for all you abusers of multuple accounts..your days are numbered!
I have nothing against people that have more than 1 account, because a friend doesn´t have a credit card or for some other reason....Just don´t abuse it, mates!

Off course its not Immoral, to play with you friends at one of your houses. The only thing stopping one of the players from looking at your screen will be their own morality. It is the same problem people have that play from a PC-Café. The world is filled with people of weak hearts that can only achieve anything by stealing and cheating. I feel pity for them! If I discover that one wins a battle by such means, I will not feel remorse because of my lost battle, merely feel that I was the winner. And I will naturally try get get proof of this persons weakness and let the weakling die...forever in the realms of Hibernia, Midgård and Albion!

The thread ends here, cheating is up to the person behind the screen...and up to the others to nail him.
