You can exchange it once... dunno if it depends on whether your char did the quest, or that you just have a bracer. Rightclicking the poison merchant (Kraczk or something) gives a separate quest for the bracer exchange. I'm not sure if you come with another bracer that hasn't been exchanged yet, that you can do that quest for that bracer as well... but it's worth a try. In that case anyone who has SI can borrow your bracer to do it for you.
