In our auctions with ending time the few days it stays there is to get people to see it and perhaps some of them will make that mental note to come back and check it before it ends
They usually need that small bump before they end too to stay on first page due to - as you said - low number of bids at early times
We've used this "xx:xx or 5 minutes after last bid" system to prevent last-second shopping and I think it works great.

Also, in my opinion, auctions with defined end time are better than the ones which go on until the seller thinks the price is right

Morty is handling this auction really but since I'm here, I might as well say that Bladerz's bid was too late (20:05 cet it was and previous was 19:56 so last time to post would had been 20:01)..

Perhaps we should start using bit longer time after last bid during which the bids would be accepted but in this auction, it was too late and the piece goes to Myrte.

Pfft that is fuckin lame, this want suposed 2 happen... i talked with him ingame and said he was putting the weapon on bw, but nerver said anything about me should bid on it, that i had already sad a price on 4P

As I was typing in the auction on bw, you messaged me telling me you had found a better weapon you wanted, and that you didn't want my weapon after all. I told you that I'll still put the item up on bw, but without your bid at the start. Too bad you failed to comprehend that, but I expressed myself clearly enough to not make any exceptions with the biddings here. The item goes to Myrte.
