Just picked up one for two quid from a boot fair.It's my second one actually, but now I have the official power pack, two game pads and several games all for about a fiver.

Erm. Sonic2, R-Type are amongs the most notable. Alex Kidd is built in and I got Alex Kidd in Shinobi World aswell.
At the mo I have a Mega Drive but no proper power supply, no games and no controllers. Anyone with spares out there? Sonic on the mega drive is the best version.

You guys are aware of the growing numbers of Ps2 emulator software?
I have a master system emu disk with hundreds of games on it.
Likewise i have the gamegear, megadrive, BBC, and speccy emu disks.
Ps2 emulation is getting up there now.

I got it up and running.
Heh. The first one I got had Alex Kid in it. This second one I bought has Sonic 1 built in to it. Odd one that!!
So I've set up one master system in the bedroom for Damini to be really lazy and I've set up the one with Sonic built in to it in the lounge.
The megadrive is taunting me though. I don't really want to go through all the hassle of ebay or whatever so I guess I'll just have to keep my eyes peeled at boot fairs.
An emulator's all well and good but nothing beats having Sonic screened up on a 32" widescreen telly. Just wish it was the megadrive version... :/

The emulator is Ps2 based kenny, not Pc.
You just burn the disk image and load it up in your Ps2.

christ i live in a teeny backwater and there's several dozen MD ads a week in the free ads supplement.

There's a shop about 5 minutes from where I work selling unopened games for the NES and the Master System, I shall tootle down next week and see what I can procure even if It just sits on my shelf unopened, the NES rocks!

me and and a m8 hit the reset button about 100 times (dunno why now) and that built it game (forgot the name) loaded up in Japanese. Gfx looked diff, and the characters on that start bit where different too. When the 1st one spoke to ya it crashed, and we never managed to do it again :/
