Seers needed or what?

A few months back there was a cry for more seers in rvr, but no action has really been there except when laby launched, ive tried almost every night to log in as healer asking for group in laby or "normal" rvr but so far have only found a single invite... So my question are: Are we needed more than before? Personally I dont think so, unless we are RR1000000 no1 even bothers to give an invite.

Its not easier than ever getting a group on a healer than before, just the other night we were 2 perfectly good healers spamming pickup room and as with LFG. Yet another sour taste in mouth when youve spent god knows how many hours levelling and templating healer for rvr bcos it was supposed to be easy getting a group... uke:
Still another nail in the coffin for the so-called community feeling and DAoC in general from my perspective, Im currently seriously having thoughts of quitting game alltogether now and most certainly when Lortr goes live in April.

The self-destructive behaviour of the English community/server is showing. It's odd, though, on the German server there is no such problem. :/

There were loads of mids in laby those nighs, no1 just didnt bother to let a grpm8 in their grp.

Thats the laby though. No need to group just zerg and you will get better rp than doing anything else.

Mess doenst give RP iirc. Aberra, I haven't played for ages but when I did I played healer. I don't know you and therefor I don't know what experience you have. With that in mind RR is very important for healers, not only does it show how much experience you have (unless ebayed), which imo is very important, but it also gives you the sweet tools of bof, di, purge and some aug dex. These tools are lifesavers when it comes to a good group.

Is it rly needed with a "good" grp on cluster atm tho? and i think aberr is annoyed cause there was a thread with QQ about no healers in mid, if he bothered lvl'ing templating and toa'ing one because of that thread i can understand him...

You mis-understood what I meant. Other players don't want to group in the lab because they can get plenty of easy rp waiting for a zerg to come along.


islef there is a shortage of seers on mid and when that thread was made the population wasn't quite as terrible as it is now and lotm wasn't out so people actually had to travel more than 3 meters to get rp. The problem is a lack of groups in general.

I DO know these things, have played the game for over 3 years, but how the hell do ppl expect that we healers get those nifty things when there are no1 around that wants to give an invite? Do u figure i go out and solo my way to RR5? Id like to see ppl try with a solo healer!

What im annoyed at is quite right the QQ about lack of healers and then when ppl go out and take the time and effort to make them no1 wants us, shows a very boring and ugly tendency in my mind, no community feeling whatso#"#¤#%¤"¤"ever, only thing thats is important to most players on this server is ME ME ME ME...

how is he supposed to get experience unless someone will play with him?

Playign a healer is pointless without ventrilo anymore. You can't keep people alive from casters unless you know when they damage. The bars don't update fast enough. Can't even keep people alive by chainhealing.
