but im a pally, and a pbaoe group doesnt even need a paladin, if they are good tanks arent even needed, neither are healers

the only one getting to lv 50 fast is the wizards and theurgs =(

unlikely, we've had pbaoe groups for ages in hib, the xp still comes faster with pure tanks and healers to keep everything running, but even with stalker classes tanking (rouges) the xp is still insanely faster than the mezz then kill one at a time method, you can't do it effectively with only the pbaoers, you need taunters and healers for the taunters too.

so less need for mezzers (looks at his minst ) but more need for power (looks at his minst ) oh well, i'll just have to settle for being needed in both group types

There is a happy middle-point that we found in DF (although we were obviously at a far lower level). Mezz adds, PBAoE the single one that gets through then move onto the next mob, PBAoE as you go. Just make sure that you only PBAoE the un-mezzed mob and that you dont catch anything else in the blast

Actually, pally's are best in pbaoe groups. They can get and hold aggro better than any.

With a small ice wiz myself, i know a single pally can taunt 2-3 mobs and keep them off me until they are dead.
