Seed the beta client ffs!

If anyone downloaded the closed beta client from this torrent:

please seed it if you possibly can, I had to download it again, and its stuck at about 60% , as there are no seeders

Thats why BitTorrent DONT work as intended. Lots of people dont give a damn about seeded, just leech what they want then dont give a damn.

I am complete new in the use of torrents, so a little advice is welcome :wub: I used ABC(Yet Another Bittorrent)2.6.9
The control panel reads:

It's this 'seeding' that I don't understand, what is it? Shall I keep it running, even if my d/l is complete?
To be honest, somebody came to help me and started the download/torrent and I can't reach him to ask for advice (blushing) and I am completely stuck here

YES MATE, keep seeding, that means you are letting other people download it from you, which is how the torrents work. Many people just leech what they want and then dont seed it, which is why many are put off using Torrents.

I always seed my downloads to 1.o share ratio unless noone is connecting to it in which case i shut it down, but yer its annoyign when people just leecha dn kill it, the torrent network relies on seeding, as long as ur sharing to at least a 1:1 ration, you have done ur bit.

H.I.B project got cancelled and I returned to Mid/Exc, I still enjoy my hibbie chars though and my house is still there.
Since PvE and friendly/fun-groups is my main thing I am waiting for Catacombs to hit DAoC, it looks great
...and while waiting I'm gonna try the WoW open-beta. Download ready, key ready, me ready! It all looks soo cute :wub: like a fairytale land, specialy when you come from harsh Midgard

this might be a stupid question.. but i'm going to ask anyway.

is there any dirffrent between the u.s open beta and the eu closed? that is if i am going to use one of them to play the eu FB, i am not going to wait 2 days to download the eu beta client.
so if i change the connetion file then would there be any diffrent form the two?

However regardless of this WoW support offers no technical help to those using the US OB with the EU FB. In my humble opinion I think everyone who is going to be in the EU final beta should use the EU client. Considering that they are a) letting you play for free until release and b) it is your job and/or duty as a beta tester to report any bugs/problems that you have. Reporting problems when using the US OB client is rather pointless and a waste of everyones time.

I know it's a long download but you at least owe them that.

yeah you maybe right.. i haven't thourgth about that, its a long wait, but i think i am going to download it anyway, when the FB comes. thanks for your explaination though

Im trying to download wow europian closed beta. it's using torrent atm from this link http://wowtorrents.de.vu/. the problem is im geting really rubbish bandwidth. ts even going to 0 at times. anyone know how to speed the process up or use a differnt download source?

Swifty, this is the 1 that I was using ABC Torrent
It worked just fine and the ETA was: 1d15 hrs, also easy to stop and restart (even for a total newbie on torrent-use as myself)
