Right, I take home around £1.5g's a month after tax, but it doesn't seem to be enough, I want to get back into DJing I was pretty good and got offers from a few people I know to do club nights in Bristol. But I lost my job and had to sell my DJ gear..worst moment of my life.

Thinking about getting a second job, can be shit..but I would prefer weekly pay, anyone know any work that goes on outside of office hours and pays weekly apart from Bar Work, did bar work for a year and I will do it again if there are no other good suggestions. I know I will be taxed 25% on my second wages and thats not a problem.

This is in England around London and has to be part time.

on a more serious note... save up for new dj stuff if possible? always nice to do things you enjoy, so maybe at least try and work towards it

however i would like to see you knock on a door saying "HI AVON LADY!"

Well the idea behind a second job is the money goes directly into a savings account and I give the card to someone I know wont let me have it.

Pedal rickshaw is the only thing I can think of off the top of my head. Relatively good money if you can do it. You hire the rickshaw, and then fares are yours. Of course, you are supposed to declare your earnings for tax etc etc.

Thats quite a good idea, I already cycle 4-6 miles a day to a from work so. However I don't live that close to the areas of London where thay can be profited from :(

Got a degree or decent A levels? You could always tutor GCSE students. My brother did that for 2 years during his phd so he could afford a nice car, he said it paid well and was piss easy. There are websites dedicated to it iirc, can get more details if you like.

Well I don't know if that would be possible where you live, but I as student work for ALDI at night (7 to ~10-11pm) in a warehouse. At least in Germany they pay really well, but monthly ofc. I get vacation bonus, christmas bonus and +15% payment after 8pm....maybe try that? =) I guess London is big enough to have their own warehouse =) (Well and I dunno if the ALDI company exists in England, but some similar supermarket chain might offer the same jobs)

if you do 3 nights a week from 6 - 10 and 2 weekends a month you can take £400 -£500 home a month from tescos depending if you stack shelves or are a supivisor.

A girl at work did this to pay off her debts seemingly tescos pay well for unsociable hours

If you can be arsed to give up some weekends the TA gives decent dollar last time i looked.

Better still is putting yourself out there as a private tutor in a specialist subject - e.g. Music, Art, whatever - can easily command £15 an hour from that and you needn't declare all your hours. Depends if youre good at anything to the point you could teach it. For example i earn a small sideline doing private martial arts tuition about twice-three times a month.

Ok I have my limits, cleaning up other peoples shit is one of them :)

Cleaning / Window cleaning is a very profitable job.

Get within a good company and it is easy easy cash for little work.

Do that job where you get tons of envelopes from readers digest or whomever, then you put all the junk in the envelopes and seal them.
