second hand game

Has anyone purchased a second hand daoc from someone who no longer plays? How do you sort out a new subscription when the CD key appears to be attached to the old account?

Since buying a used version of the game would mean transferring an account as well, it's against the CoC.

But maybe it's possible to buy an old DAOC and somehow arrange an new account..

I dunno, I think this is a question for right now.
