Second fiddle?

Ive been playing on the Euro servers since beta, and like mosthave been eagrely awaiting the new patches that the US servers. Having looked now at the Italian servers - http://www.daoc.it , how come they got little lag when it comes to translations, that are blamed for our lousy latency of 3 months after the US?

Currently it seems they are running 1.50, and testing 1.52d, including the "respec" feature, when we are still farting around with 1.49 in testing?

Is it GOA or Mythic stitching us up, and as soon the Aisian market, Korea etc are about to get a taste of DAoC, what version they gonna get, I would xpect 1.50+.

So how come we get to sit here playing second fiddle, and why is it also they have bugs in the 1.49 version (non language types) that were ironed out in the US versions long ago? Or is it that GOA are buying a second hand copy from a boot fair?

GOA have 2 translations to do and dont forget that the beta test started when mythic were releasing multiple patches in a month.

Why is it so hard for people to understand why we are behind the US servers?

and at the end of the day. WHAT DOES IT MATTER!!!!

If it concerns you so much, then play on the US servers.



Also I`ve run the Italian website through a translator and it appears they are currently testing 1.50, not 1.52D. The reference to 1.52D is news of the US servers.
However I don`t speak Italian, and am completely reliant on the web page translator!


As a side note, not sure if the moaners realise this but, US servers are $12.95 to play on. This, at the time of conversion works out at £8.27.

OOOooo look we get a reduction in price because we are behind them.

Besides, they're catching up baring in mind how far behind the european servers were released.

GAO Are constantly keeping us up to date dealing with problems quickly, adding content/events (read the section added 100npcs over the 3 releams) and working hand and foot to catch up with the patches.... to me thats good enough

start playing the game quit whining and get some freekin patience, it ain't going to happen over night no matter how much you shout even if they threw another 100 people on the job the cost would probably bancrupt them and wouldn't really enable things to go 100 times quicker it just doesn't work like that !

wondering these moneys, i know one us dollar is allmost same as €
so i pay 10€ month,
US ~12.95 dollars or ~12,95€
english pay 6 £ for a month, same as € offcourse when playing euro server.
differense is 2.95 €, huge differense when dont have change to play 3rd realm, are 3 patch behind, crappy servers etc etc
