Time to start this one..
A few questions..
1/ What maps are going to be included?
I liked the addition of avalanche for season3, but it was awkward to play, as it wasn't on any of the bw base servers. so..
2/ Is it possible for one server to be dedicated towards the maps that are going to be in the season?
3/ will the current format of 2 halves be continued? [good idea that one, even if it did cause some initial problems /me hides]
4/ How is the adjustments of divisions going to be made? div 1 has 5, as has div 4.. can we expect teams to be promoted accordingly, to fill up the slots?
5/ the bwadmin mod, with the elf fix, and repair pack cheat fix, will it be included [please]
Thoughts, anyone?

The Admins haven't discussed season 4 yet, there will be a cup first, which provides a testing ground.

AFAIK we will be looking at the Open Call and Balanced maps to see if they are suitable. We may play them in the cup to test them.

BWTL server 2 is always available for ppl to praccy on. Password is expert. BWTL server 1 can also be used, just ask an admin to setup the server for you.

Probably, although the Balanced maps should take away the need for a swap of ends.

It's down to the admins at the end of the day, Poker has the last say in this. It's based on previous seasons performance as well as performance in the cup. So that means that tribes that win a div will probably be promoted. The divisions get mixed around a lot as tribes tend to drop out between seasons. Div 4 is a complete mess this season as lots of tribes dropped out, and we had to invite tribes to join it.

Any chance of starting season4 preferable before the tribes UK scene dies of death?

The ridiculous wait between season2 & season3 did not exactly help things and it was one of the reasons why BL lost interest.

Also, can someone please put ST into division1 and see some sense. Their games in division3 were grossly unbalanced. Some of the ST players participated in the 'Finland Vs The World' match which involved the likes of IE players on the opposite team. I think beating up other division3 teams 50-0 just isn't on.

As for maps, there are only a few additional ones worth bothering with such as the open call map 'canyon crusade'. Most of the balanced map aren't going to be very good for competitive play due to their defensive nature.

As for Poker's mod,
you can counter his repair pack fix quite easily and its perfectly legal too.

Obviously Poker hasn't quite done his homework on this one

Well the divisions got mixed around as there was a lot of tribes dropping, and also lots of new ones joining. We do our best to make the divisions balanced. Just like on a pub server, this is a tricky thing.
