You do realise how much grandstand tickets cost?

If you want a good seating position for Silverstone, get a seat at the Complex (just after Abbey>Bridge), great overtaking there, and there is the added advantage of a huge 3-sided tv screen as well.

Silverstone is just around the corner from where I live.., people at work rent their spare room to Mclaren engineers now and then

was gonna go the other year, but the parking put me off... I wanna see F1 fgs, not drive off road myself :)

tbh.. if these tickets are in the pits straight grandstand (I've email that user to ask ;)) then I would pay that price.. for me its a once-in-a-life-time opportunity so I think I'm gonna take it. I've never been to a real F1 GP before, never mind been so close I could get high off the exhaust fumes :D

I used to go every year. Helicopter in, walk the pit lane, seats on Copse. Definitely worth the £0 :D

I checked a month ago and all the good seats were gone, all that was left was the (shitty) seats at £190 (!) a pop.

£190 for a plastic seat without even a roof! Dick Turpin wore a mask ffs!

I hope they get the money to move the start/finish, maybe then we'll get covered grandstand seating.

Na, I *could* be back home is SA by the time the next GP is here again.. or I *could* be here for another few years... tbh I don't know... and if I do go back to SA, the last time they had a formula 1 GP was when Noah was a little boy, so I got more chance falling pregnant than seeing a GP in south africa anytime soon.

I'm not bragging, work is very quiet at the moment which means I'm skint. Bragging would be starting a whole new topic devoted to me.

... and feels the need to mention it at every available opportuinity. I'm sure he's loaded and has a very comfortable lifestyle and he worked hard for it etc etc etc but personally I'm a bit bored of seeing him talk about his job in every other thread.

But that's just my opinion.

Loaded? I don't think so. Comfortable? Yeah sure, if you like staying awake at night worrying about paying the bills. I had a great year last year, loads of work. This year I've had 1/2 of that. Thats stress mate, but I don't suppose you have to worry about that, seeing as you're only just a schoolkid.

Sure, its a great job, I'm not complaining, but there are plenty of other people here who have great jobs, and don't mind mentioning it. Some people even have really nice cars, thats great, but if I was that loaded do you think I'd be driving a 5 year old Audi with 113K on the clock, and a diesel at that?

The fact is, I like my job, I like talking about it, maybe some people are interested in what I do for a living. I'm not particularly interested in other people's jobs here, mainly because its to do with computers, and that doesn't really do it for me, but I don't say anything because I understand these people like their work, and their life, and just want to share that with others. I still read their posts, if it was that boring, I wouldn't.

This all started cos somebody asked how I knew what I was talking about (jokingly). I replied tongue-in-cheek, and all of a sudden I'm being attacked for talking about my job once in a while? Well fuck me, I'll talk about having to clean the oven shall I? Or what about the time my front door started sticking, and I had to brace it with my car jack? Wonderful stuff I'm sure.

If you don't want to hear me talking about my job, fine, but don't make up stupid meaningless childish posts that aren't true. And take a look at my posts, how many times do I mention what it is I do? Only ever in relation to the topic in some way, and never to 'brag'.

Was there a need for such a diatribe? Half of what you write is interesting, the other half I find dull and that half if usually you talking about your job. You shouldn't really care what I think that much, after all I am just a 'schoolkid'

n.b. I left school 18 months ago, worked for a year and have spent the past 5 months unemployed and not claiming benefits. Just for your information.

Actually I'm fucking sick of it :) Gives me plenty of time to myself but I've got no one to go out with and I live in a shitty little village.

I signed up to some job agencies to try and get some temp work a couple of months ago, need to chase them up.

I also need some cash to burn, I've got entire Led Zep back catalogues to buy.

Then perhaps you should be a little bit more critical of your own situation, instead of commenting on other people.

Why? His situation is fantastic.

(oh and I don't think he was commenting on your situation, merely complaining that you did)

His situation is shit and boring.

And he comments on how Tom is dull yet posts meaningless shit and insults most of the time unless it's football related.

p.s. I'm not having a go at you mank before you tell me my posts are shit. I am already well aware of that fact.
