Scunthorpe LAN party.

I wasnt sure where to put this thread, so I thought Id bung it in here and ride any flames that waft my way

Im running a LAN near a lovely town called Scunthorpe (lovely.....ha). Weve done a few before and usually end up with around 50 people for the one day (16hr) event.

The date is November 12th and the cost is just 6 quid, for which you get a power socket, a network socket, a table space and a comfy plastic chair to park your bum. In the past weve had a CS tourny, 40man FarCry games and lots of BF1942 DC. This time I expect more of the same but with BF2 instead of DC.

scunthorpe is lovely, as long as you dont go anywhere dodgy like backalleys

Personally, I hate Scunny and rarely go there. Messingham on the other hand (where the LAN will be) is a glorious haven of beautiful people and great pubs.
