Yes, yes, yes...it's time to dig-up that old friend..the script that's considered cheating.

I refer initially, of course, to the classic M4 script used in AQ2 for many a month, but I want to draw opinions on this same phenomena occuring in Counter Strike.

I only downloaded the thing last week. I swam the murky waters of consoles and configs for a few days before happening on the blatant use of "cheat" scripting.
Message boards (not this one) are full of this shit and the admins are allowing the spread of this disease...

Admittedly there is a divide in the CS camp on the issue with lots of peeps who don't think it's right while loads do.

Didn't BarrysWorld update the server-side script detection for AQ2 to stop M4 scripting'n'shit?
Are there similar plans for CS?

...any comments? Then lets hear it.

erm....call me silly (amongst other things) but what is this M4 script of which you speak?

My scripting lets me buy stuff quickly and use the radio messages faster. I take this M4 doobrie is a cheaty type thing??

Yeah thats why I said cheat script cause some scripts are considered ok by most peeps.
When you use the m4 (in AQ2), and have it on full auto, the muzzle rises so you have to push forward slightly as you fire to keep the business end pointing at your target and not the ceiling above him. The script simply compensates and keeps the gun level.

hmmmm, that would be cheating, I agree. Full auto with no muzzle climb.
Impossible in reality.
