I know another outfit he could use - just for himself though - staight jacket!

Bit harsh that come to think of it as the pets seem very well cared for, which is the main thing.

I hate the way Americans pronounce certain words.

Words like "duodenum":
English pronounciation: dew-oh-dee-num (4 syllables)
American pronounciation: doo-wahdunum (2 syllables)

"Caribbean":
English: Carry-bee-ann (3 syllables)
US: Karribbeann (1 syllable)

"Route":
English: Root
US: Rout

"The act of having been the victim of a burglary"
English: was burgled
US: burglarised !

"A black female"
English: Black woman
US: lady of color

etc etc etc

For some reason when I read this I got the sound of that american cop show host saying the word in one of those over-the-top sensationalist ways they always seem to say it :D

It made me laugh but I dont know why :(

OMIGAWD BURGLARISED!!"!£

<snip>

I hate the way some UK folks' are so elitist in respect of which english is "The real deal".
I've got news for you. American English is just as much english as UK english is. They just evolved differently since the colonization (yes, that's a z). UK english is just as different from the root as American english is.

You don't hear too many dutch or belgium people whining about how Afrikaans (or dutch about Flemish for that matter) isn't real?

Put a sock in it and shut up about it already. "Your" english ain't better than US english. It's just different.
