Screen size issue

I wonder if any of you peeps can help.

Yesterday DAOC crashed without warning and now when i log on i get a gamescreen the size of the windowed mode with a 2 inch black border all the way round. I have tried changing the options at the character selection screen but no joy.

Windowed mode runs fine without any screen area loss.

Any suggestions??

Sounds to me like you need to adjust the screen settings on your monitor to stretch the screen to fit the screen size. This is assuming you're using an old CRT type and not TFT.

Im using a laptop so cannot stretch the image.

Windows displays ok but just cant seem to increase the game image size beyond windowed mode size.

Dont laptops have a way to stretch the screen image to fit the screen itself.

Im sure on the DELL laptops at work there is, something like Fn+F4

Anyway changing the screen resolution in the options for DAOC should make your game image fit the screen, not really sure what the problem could be if not.
