Screen Dump of DVD

What program do i need for this? each time i do a print screen its still animating in paintshoppro once i pasted it.

I close the dvd and the image becomes a purple blob

im guessing there is software that can override this?

use the "capture image" function in your DVD players, such as power dvd (comes with most gfx cards) there will be a option.
Will have a look later as i dont have it installed atm.
had to do this for a uni cswk

You can also use VLC player but its a little more effort to get that to work since you have to specify the paths etc
