Pretty good imo maybe a little light on dex but a good all round template thanks for taking the time to make it and post it here .

Prolly get lostsa peeps saying I am a n00b and i have no idea what a template is anyway ... they may be right too :/

I would get rid of the belt and the con cap ring, you need to focus on getting your str and dex capped for maximum damage, i would replace the belt with something like Malmis belt, which has Dex and str caps and the ring with something lke Ring of Dances for the SL or another ring which overcaps

Looks ok, just wondering why you aint using either chamb bow or weapon, imo they are worth it.


The Daily scout template, updated once again.
Lowered shield skill for more str,con and hits cap.
Mostly the changes affect my meleeing. If i put CW on (witch i will use vs most enemies) i get the remaning 4 thrust skill, and the stats on the cw + the caps on it just rises my str and dex.
Not sure if i should remove the DS con bracer, and get a DS str bracer instead.

i can agree that CW is nice. forgot to add that in my calculation. The temp i've made there is for an hybrid specced scout. who is 34 stealth 48 lb 30 shield and 39 thrust. thereby the higher weapon and defence skills.

please read, i have 30 shield. i can't drop lb to 45 and get 42 sheild. and i like this balanced spec. good melee, while good bow damage.

my preference if u r going mellee u need 42 shield for slam drop LB then

I like the 30 shield. i might drop lb to 45 for higher shield. I do not want to be an pure melee spec. i want to be able to do good bopw damage to. If i had been more sniper spec i would go 42 shield. or more melee spec. But in my case if i have to melee i want to do it quite decent.

so get on topic. and give advice on my temp as i sugested for.

forgive me ffs for trying to be constructive here but u state u want to be highish damage in mellee and with defense skills 42 shield is a must in any scout template and or spec and as seen as the spec determines any template u might wanna start with the right spec....


most snipper's go 45lb 42 shield stelth determined on RR rest thrust (saracen)

a very good mellee 35 lb 32 shield 42 thrust rest in stelth and still does good damage in bow


so pardon me for trying to help out ....wont do it again

well i appreciate that you try to be of help. but i want to try and go an odd spec. in leirvik ,can't be compared to big boy RvR tho i did quite decent. i've also RvRd some myself and do have some db's. I never stated that i wanted highish damage in melee. i wanted decent damage in melee. My aim is to use melee just as an finnisher.

This spec works quite well for me. I know the 42 shield spec is an quite obvius one. I also quite stick out to many that i use the fb in both RvR and pve.

so the reason i wanted you to stay on topic is that i asked for advice on my template and not on my spec. It wasn't that i wanted to be mean or something.
