Scout Spec

I know theres been loads of threads on scout specs iv had a read throught them all, well im in the process of PL my scout and i was looking at some specs for 50.

I was wondering on a spec of or is this for a more higher RR scout as im not one for leeching with my bow i like to kick some ass.
35 stealth no more needed
29 bow?? is it to low
42 sheild Slam ofcourse
44 thrust good melee skills

ill sort my template to what ever spec i go.

can u comment on this spec plz

There are lots of viable (and not-so-viable) specs out there. Personally, I think you shouldn´t spec lower than 45 lb for Rapid Fire II. The damage difference between 50 and 45 lb is nothing to write home about. But - without personal experience - the difference from 29 to 45 or 50 should be significant.

At the end of the day, it´s a matter of taste. I`m happy with my current spec: 45 lb, 42 sh, 29 slash, rest stealth, with access to Malice and Battler. Your spec might work too (I think Saifang was specced like this... look for her videos to see how it´s working in action).

Other than losing the best rapid-fire, I noticed almost no difference between 35+15 and 45+15 longbow. I think my Crit Shot cap only went down by maybe 100, if that, so I was still hitting at over 1k.

Now, with 12+4 longbow, that's a whole different story

same spec (bar slash not trust) my scout has, i switched to it at rr3 and went to rr6 easy with it

the lower LB skill didnt matter to much to me as i was mostly grped with another scout or inf there was about a 10 drop in bow damage ie 900 now instead of 1k

Ello, sorry to bump an old thread, just felt like I'd browse freddy tonight for some reason.

I was 50 Slash, 42 shield, 29 Stealth and 27 Bow, but no idea how that is in current game, not played for over a year now.

Kicked the DAoC addiction by feeding it with Warcraft. xD

Aim using (RR10)
44 Thrust (2 style chain)
42 Shield (Slam)
35 Longbow (Rapid fire 1)
Rest stealth (think its 29)
All +20 (Non autotrained)

Maybe drop Thrust abit early RR instead of Longbow, your choice though
I know Aim wouldnt do without 35 bow (rapid fire 1) for casters as we been there tryed that early RRs

Specs will change when either patch 1.88 or 1.89 comes out as archers are getting done over!

Depends what 'love' we get TBH. My spec is pretty optimal right now, so won't change it unless that'll grant me a big damage increase.
