Took me a long time to warm to the Scissor Sisters. Brilliant band. Well worth picking up the album. Agree with you on the Elton John thing. Reckon they've thrown a bit of the Bee Gees into the mix too

'Mary' does have an eltonesque piano part and chord sequences, but so what? I also like Elton John so I'm not bothered. Their singer has a good voice, imho, and even Mrs J likes em, so ner ner ne ner neeerrrrr
