Having 2 lgm crafters tailoring ac'er, i decided to make a sc'er got to 400 without much problems, then all of a sudden midway into my 400's it gets tough for the following reasons;
craft rate is pretty slow
lucky to get 1 point out of 10 crafts rest failures or lost materials.
spent 4 hours crafting 1 night got 12 points and tried again today basically same.
am i just been unlucky or is this what to expect from now on and with it even get harder as i get higher.

On every crafter ive done 400-600 seems to be way slower for skill gain than any other tier.
400-500 on my alch took longer than 900-1000 which sucks considering how long it takes to make 5th tier item compared to a 10th.

I only ever made yellows upto about 800 sc. There would appear to be a reasonable 'sweet' point at 6 to 10 above the gem lvl which has less failures and max lvling. However, there appears also to be a 'huge' variance on top of this where u can suddenly go from making with no prob and lvling to the opposite!!! I even thought it may be time of day or number of players crafting but it always varied. I gave up trying to work it out and ploughed on!

GL. Cost to go 800 to 900 was 2.75p and 900 to 1000 was 4p for me.
