Bloody ridiculous springs to mind. This school is basically telling people what they can and can't eat. Me I'd take the school to the European Court of Human Rights =P

Well it's a bit stragnge, but;

A: What i've seen from UK schools, this sort of action would do bloody good.
B: Isn't it illegal to do that anyway without a permit? With a permit they can't do sh*t to someone selling outside a school area.
C: The school is right in saying they have the right to do what they want(within limits) and if you don't like it, go elsewhere.

Ahaha, there's probably 10 people who sell stuff in my year - They make SO much money for example If you buy 5 kitkats for like £1.50, You've got a £1.50 profit, from selling those, and they usually buy like 30 things a day for 50p a peice, doesn't take long to work it out - a lad used to do it, then he rolled up to buying Cod MWF2 from Sainsburies for £27 a crack - then he sold them off for £35, claiming to retards that it was the cheapest price around, he's loaded now. lmao.

omgz not marked up discos!!!

it is funny really because years ago we all used to joke about kids dealing blue smarties at school when they got banned for the colour additives and now it has really happened!

My nephew is currently selling cans of coke he bought for 15p for 50p a pop. Good on him I say, it is honest work and the schools are just pissed off that it is flouting thier stupid rules.

i used to do this as skool, buy 5 mars bar packs and 6 packs of coke from tesco sell them at 40p/50p a pop (when prices were like 35p and 50p in shops) would make about £4-5 ever day, pocket money for the weekend

also is any1 else even slightly shocked that toht is the ONLY person to agree with the school?

I don't see a problem with it, if he was told not to sell them and continued to do so what did he expect?

Personally i think his old man got him to do it after he was told to sod off

cos it's a petty and pathetic reaction to a stupid rule

read above
he was told not to as it breaks the rules set by the school, he ignored it
he should be punished
thats how it works

Edit:
"Mr Bradley, from Norris Green, admitted he too had once been caught selling canned drinks, chocolate bars and crisps from a van outside the school.

He said: "I think the school has made a beeline for him because of what I've done.""

His father was told not to do it, so his parents not being aware of the rule is also not an excuse

I bet you are one of those people who don't mind drug dealers selling to kids because they "bend" the rules

I'm happy as long as no one here is one of those people who says "laws are made to be broken". Because they aren't.

I gotta agree with Gohan on this one.

If kids dont get exposed to shit at a young age, they will grow up mollycuddled. Shit, you are even told to not climb trees or go play in the pile of builders sand at the end of the street. Thats what I did, anything to get me out of the house.

There are too many rules now that stop kids being kids and its wrong.

Im not saying go sell drugs to them, but for God's sake, let them do what many of our parents and grandparents did when they were growing up.

fail to see the problem , ofc the school can decide what it want sold on its premises , and if anyone should be making a profit at all it should be the school , not some little exploiting git.

I find it hilarious watching the clueless being brainwashed
by the misled.

It may seem all healthy and Jamie Oliver to push these policies
except they all lack one vital ingredient....
A single ounce of actual evidence to back them up!

The western diet has improved over the last 200 years to
the point where our food is practically perfect,

No we didn't eat 'healthy' 'Garden of Eden' produce, most of us
ate pure shite and the mortality rates reflected this.

Our food is the most nutritional and bacterial free it has ever been
in human history and still we sit here believing the advertising
and celebrity bullshit backed by Government Quango's that
somehow it is silently killing us.

A Mc Donalds Big Mac is pure heaven to your bodies requirements and those clogged up arteries in your 60's is your genes not what you eat.

We have gone food fashion mad with just about every food advertised
on the telly selling itself as a drug (which is actually against the law) but
somehow everyone's turning a bind eye in this frenzy to be connected
to some sudo-religous belief in wholesomeness.

Please people..advertisers, celebrities and governments....
NEVER, EVER BELIEVE A SINGLE WORD THEY SAY!

Have to ask, do you believe in that whole "carbs and such" malarky that's going around? Low fat? Low salt? :D
