we need to increase drug awareness(i bet you haven't a clue) and make CLEAR seperations between different substances.

Heroin sold as 'brown' is sometimes used by clubbers as a chill out after a big night out. Brown is still heroin, some people mistakenly think it's not as addictive.

I own 2 shops Maxi. Guess what. Smackheads DO steal my stuff given any opportunity. They DID steal the charity box on the counter after I let one of them use the toilet. They HAVE stolen films from off the counter and then had the fucking cheek to go and steal the cases for them.

I have never seen a smackhead collecting for charity or helping an old woman across the road. I have never seen one have a full time job to actually pay for their habit. They remind me of wasps, buzzing around looking for something "sweet" to have.

you missed the point trem. As long as they are addicted to heroin and can't afford the habit, there will be trouble. BUT if they can be helped get off it they will probably stop comitted the crimes! thus saving you hassle! (even if you pay in one way or another)

I was thinking alot about this stuff now I'm a dad. I just wonder what actually makes people take this stuff. I have never had anything apart from the usual.

I hope and pray my son doesn't get hooked. Is it because the addicts are stupid? No, I don't think its that. Is it peer pressure? I don't know. Is it boredom? I don't know there either.

Depression, pain, misery. A desire to escape from those things.

You don't have to be stupid or succumb to peer pressure to suffer from pain and want to escape it by all means necessary.

Doh! the second picture where it goes on about the number of crack addicts threw me.. Disturbing pictures none the less - I cant help but feel sorrow for a fellow human being hopelessly addicted to a substance that is slowly killing her.

I hope that she managed to break the addiction but I dont think it likely...

I imagine that once you have been addicted for a few years there is nothing left in your life except the addiction.

heh. a girl I went to school with became addicted to something. I have seen her a few times in the streets since the school days. The last time I saw her was during the summer two years ago. she looked about 50, and was wearing a fetching backless top that showed off her wasted body and large sores and lesions on her back to maximum effect. I remember her being a reasonably bright girl who really really sucked at vollyball.
