Scary experience

I just had to register on the forum to share this episode with you!
I have played daoc for quite some time now, and have never met an assasin who have showed mercy, up untill yesterday!
I was running around in Emain with my lvl 44 sb (Sorry), trying to find someone on my size that I might have a fight with.
As I often do, I ended up at amg... The hibs were zerging it at the time, so I keept my distance. Then all of a sudden I see an infil coming towards me, and I run in the oposit direction! Then I look in the action window and see that the infiltrator, Hidden, was waving and bowing to me, but I didn't quite trust that, so I kept running.. Had in mind when Envenom salutet me before he did his thang
Hidden continued waving and bowing, and I understood he could kill me anyways, so I stoped, carefully turned around (hoping I wouldn't get a PA in my face) and bowed back. He was in fact friendly towards me
That actually scared me more than seeing him in the first place, hehe..
He /stuck me and we scouted amg together for a little while..
Was a bit sad to see that he got an Enchanter pet on him and had to flee, and I didn't see him again.. <mumbles something about bugged pets>

Hehe, nice to hear about friendly encounters in the frontier...
It happened to me too, only once, while I was tree-jumping around mmg, testing my mez on the usual purples around. While hugging a tree, a kobie archer shows up. My fingers froze on the keyboard, awaiting that red message in my chat window... but he waved to me, we <kissed> (shh, dont tell that!) while we both watched albs camping the mmg.

It soon ended as I tried my mez on a fg of passing albs. Needless to say, i was one-shotted after successfully mezzing a few of them for a very brief period. The cute kobie got shot to...
Was sad actually, since I wanted to make a duo with him, I mez, you kill, we both happy.

Oh yes, his name is Guden! And I miss him...

i had the same when i still had my scout, was at amg and hibs where camping it, then some norse poped up and we bowed a bit etc, but the fact is, he didnt kill me bc he would get uncoverd and get us both zerged by a bunch of hibs

They're nice, i had it happen to me once with my NS only i made friends with a WHOLE group of kobold somethings, then i got killed by an aggro.


Funny thing was the mids were more helpful than the hibs, i got a res then they just left me next to the thing that just killed me (given that i was lvl 11 and mob was 26ish) but luckily i had my kobold friends who killed it for me.

lol, like I ever get a chance to PA any lvl 50 infil/ns You lads see me miles away.. Sort of get farmed, but I got used to it ^^ I am still going to run around at this lvl.. I don't feel like rushing into lvling to 50, mostly because I hate playing at lair.. So I will just run around and do my thang, like the gimp I am And.. I love the feeling of red con players looking for me :roll:
btw, did you manage to get away from that pesky pet? Was insanely crowded at amg. Never seen hibs in such large numbers before!

Same thing happened to me a while back when i was soloing some mobs outside drum cain. Very purple con alb unstealthed and sat next to me and did a few bows etc but generally left me alone. She did leech one of my kills though the cheeky bint . Shame the guards chased her away.

strangly enough i did escape the pet, then went back to amg, and get killed by mid zerg
